Huawei's intelligent OLT platform OptiXaccess MA5800T won the Red Dot Award 2024
As we enter the F5.5G (fixed 5.5G) 10G era, Huawei released the next-generation intelligent OLT platform MA5800T early this year. The MA5800T won unanimous recognition from award judges thanks to its five leading features:
"Winning this world-level design award proves the recognition from industrial design experts on Huawei MA5800T products for their outstanding design and performance," says Feng Zhishan, President of Huawei Optical Access Network Domain. "Huawei will continue to innovate and develop high-quality and high-performance optical access products for customers to facilitate the development of the F5G-A all-optical 10G industry."
Germany's Red Dot Award is one of the world's top three design awards together with the iF Award (also from Germany), and the IDEA Award in the US. The three are often referred to as the Oscars of industrial design. The Red Dot Award represents an international recognition of creativity and design. Every year, tens of thousands of newly-designed products participate in the selection process. Award judges follow the principle of "In search of good design and innovation" when deciding award winners.
